La Vista Highland Mountain Resort
La Vista Highlands: Bringing the Highlands Living to the Next Level (Updated 2016)
Two weeks ago I received a text message that the happy trippers were invited to visit La Vista Highlands Resort and Hotel. I was excited about the news so I requested for a day off so we can schedule our trip to La Vista. This will be yet another trip to enjoy for the Happy Trippers. September 7, we left Bacolod at around 9am and went straight directly to San Carlos City where La Vista Highlands Resort is located. We took the route of Murcia to cut the distance but the road is quite steep and winding.
.
Travelers also have the option to take the longer route which is the coastal road passing through the North of Negros with less winding but the distance is doubled. Visitors who opted to commute can take a bus ride from Bacolod going to San Carlos via Don Salvador. Travel time is approximately 90 minutes without stopping but the happy trippers made few stops to document some scenes along the way.

At around 12pm, we arrived at the place. We were greeted by Mr. Bryan Montinola, the Marketing Director of the Resort and the nephew of the owner, Mr. Albert Garbanzos. We were so amazed about the place. Its architecture was stunning and the landscape was magnificent that every visitor will be awed. Before we toured around the place, we were treated to a sumptuous lunch at their resto bar. The food was truly delectable. After our lunch, we headed straight to our room, guided by their friendly staff Miss Tonette Clear. When we entered the room, we couldn’t help but say “WOW”. The room has a first class interior. The colors are in harmony and the design was definitely classy. The veranda was accentuated with fine wooden furniture and the cool breeze adds up to the relaxing atmosphere. At around 4pm, we started our photo shoot around the resort. Every angle was captivating, a modern masterpiece of a man who brought the highlands to the next level.
