This coming October 17, 2011 you will witness the crowning of Miss MassKara 2011 . The ladies are now preparing hard for this event. ABS CBN and The MassKara 2011 committee are working double time to make this event a success. One of the activities these ladies are hopped into is the Fashion Photoshoot with the icons of Bacolod. THE MASSKARA QUEEN FINAL 10 CANDIDATES HAD FUN OVER THE WEEKEND IN A FASHION SHOOT WITH MEMBERS OF THE CAMERA CLUB OF NEGROS AT VARIOUS VENUES NAMED AS THE NEW ICONS OF BACOLOD CITY.
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS YEAR’S MASSKARA FESTIVAL THEME, “CELEBRATING THE NEW ICONS OF BACOLOD,” THE FASHION PICTORIAL PRESENTING EACH ICON WITH EACH OF THE MQ LADIES, WILL BE SHOWN ON PAGEANT NIGHT OCTOBER 17, 2011.
DRESSED IN PREPPY, MIX-MATCHED OUTFITS DESIGNED BY CRISTINA MAY POBLADOR OF HYBRID PROJECT, THE MQ CANDIDATES HAD FUN EXPRESSING THEMSELVES AS CUTIE PAPER DOLL-LIKE FIGURES, SAILOR GIRL, SAFARI WOMEN AND OTHER PIN UP, MAGAZINE COVER GIRL TYPE LOOKS.
THE ICONS NAMED BY THE SILVER MASSKARA FESTIVAL ORGANIZATION WERE THE MOST-PHOTOGRAPHED NEW GOVERNMENT CENTER, THE POPE JOHN PAUL TOWER, ART DISTRICT, GALLERY ORANGE, EAST VIEW HOTEL, PLANTA CENTRO HOTEL, THE CHALET OF L’FISHER, RIVERWALK SUBDIVISION IN VILLA ANGELA AND THE KAPAMILYA NETWORK, ABS-CBN.*
We will see the outcome of this photoshoot during the pageant. The ladies must be tired after this activity but seeing their beautiful pictures with the icons make them feel that it’s all worth it. Mark your calendars this coming October 17, 2011 @ 7pm as all roads of Bacolod will lead to La Salle Coliseum to witness one of the Philippines Prestigious Beauty Pageant, The Miss MassKara 2011.

Vito mask is one of the trademark of masskara festival…wherever place I go..there is always a mask in my home..symbolises being a bacolodnon..and one of fanatic of vito pieces….
