UNO-R TEAMBUILDING AT THE BACOLOD FOREST PARK

I was invited once again to conduct a team building seminar workshop for the Administrators of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R). I was very excited about the seminar for 3 reasons: first this is where I got my BS Psychology, Master in Public Administration (CAR) and my Doctoral degree; second, I also conducted a series of training for all their teaching, non-teaching employees, and Administrators; third some of the participants for the teambuilding were my colleagues in the past and even my former instructors.The seminar was conducted at the Bacolod Forest Park.

 The Bacolod Forest Park It’s not the first time that I conducted a training at the Bacolod Forest Park. And while the place seemed lacking in maintenance, I can still say that it is still  a good venue for some training like Teambuilding. They have room accommodations  though it is placed on the other side of the park. The place is very spacious and has a vast garden and open spaces which are  ideal for some outdoor activities.  I love the atmosphere because the park is surrounded with   many big trees that give fresh air and healthy oxygen. The place is also good for some family outings and even for corporate gatherings.  I already brought the staff of the Jojo Vito Designs gallery in the past to the place.

They have  the Lazy River, which adult and kids will certainly love.  Different amenities are too usable. Cottages and Mini Gazebos are good enough to have a family party for some fees. And for the great event, the Grand Gazebo can accommodate up to 500 guests also for fees. Doubtless, you can treasure the place like the children that love so much while playing under the four giant fountains in the middle of the pole. You can also see various kind of animals in the zoo under the shadow of the trees.

The Forest Park Resort is very accessible since it is located in the metropolis. From Bacolod the downtown area, the place is one ride only using public jeep with the route Taculing-Central Market. The sole affair which I suppose the management should look into for review is their food and their concessionaire. I hope  that the management can look into this. We have already given them feedback 2 years ago…
