The Pattaya City of Thailand is perhaps one of the most visited areas in the entire country. With the number of places and sight to see here, inevitably, people who are heading to Bangkok will also make it appoint that Pattaya City is part of their itinerary. One of the prides of Pattaya is the Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden. Yes, it is a garden, but not the ordinary type of garden. Ready to take on a new adventure? Here it goes!
What is Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden
The property covers about 600-acres of land. With such a vast area, it was able to present a garden which shows the beauty of the 17th-century French Garden along with the European Renaissance garden. With such architectural inspiration, the place has managed to be uniquely and impressively beautiful in its ways. Despite the hot weather, it does not stop the people from visiting this scenic garden.
How much will it cost?
There are various packages below. If you would like to pair up the admission fee with other activities such as elephant show, that cultural show, elephant riding, a buffet lunch, and even your transfers. So, the adventure that you are about to do for your visit will depend on what kind of activities you would like to accomplish.
Surprisingly, there is an ATM machine in the area. I run out of Baht during my visit, so I just withdraw from the machine.
What are the features of the Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden?
Sculptures
The place is teeming with the sculptures of animals and all other garden displays. These sculptures were beautifully created, showing different colors to add life to the overall vibes of the garden. So, make sure that you charged your gadget or camera with you because you will have a fantastic time posing with the different sculptures.
Affordable Meals
There is an available food court in the garden where you could buy cheap yet sumptuous meals! From local Thai food down to noodles, every penny you spend in this food court will undeniably be worth it. Not only you get to visit the amazing Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden, but you also get to fill your tummy with palatable meals.
Butterfly Hill
The landscape paired with the perfect patterns of flowers is the main reason why a lot of people fall in love with this garden. Once you’ve got a glimpse of this butterfly hill, leaving the place will become a difficult decision to make. It is as if being a part of a different world where everything is vibrant and beautiful.
Mini Zoo
From the name itself, the zoo is just mini. Meaning to say. There are no many animals on display. But overall, it is still worth to see if you are traveling with your children.
Dinosaur valley
Yes, the dinosaur valley is not just for kids. The maze-l9ke structure of the area paired with the long valley is indeed perfect. The towering sculpture of a dinosaur in the middle of it is equally admirable. Take photos and enjoy the scenery as you walk in the middle of the valley.
The Stonehenge Garden
An imitation of the Stonehenge of England is also found here in Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden. Despite being a copy, the sight of it is also a top tourist attraction of the garden. Being here allows you to get a glimpse of the other side of the world.
Thai Traditional Performance
One of the exciting features of the place is the traditional Thai performance where you can take a glimpse at the history and culture of Thailand. After the classic Thai show, there will be an Elephant Show which is just located across the main theatre.
If you want to see the shows, you need to pay the extra. It is best to book online ahead for a better price. There is also a package below which includes the shows.
