The Hobbit Village has a different Hobbit Houses. These are made up of different materials such as grass, rocks, and woods. The five feet height of the structure makes it, even more, realistic hobbit vibes. The lounge area inside the house has mostly woods and rocks. There is also decent bedding to accommodate an overnight stay. Though there is no fan nor air-conditioning unit available inside the hobbit house Bukidnon, the peak location of it (about 1,300 meters above the sea level) makes it cold at night. At some point, the temperature could even hit up to 14 degrees Celcius. If it becomes too severe, there is an available fireplace inside the house to serve as your source of heat and warmth.

The total area of the eco-farm is about 22 hectares. Because of this, one will be able to indulge in the beauty of the woods fully. How to get to the Hobbit House Bukidnon By Public Transport

From Cagayan de Oro City, take a bus bound for Malaybalay, Bukidnon from Agora Terminal. Bus leaves every 20 minutes during day time, while the bus interval schedules are about 30 minutes. Fare is pegged at 140/head, and travel time is around 2.5 hours. Don’t take the bus late in the afternoon as you will have the chance to get to the place at night and the road is bumpy. If it’s raining, you may not get to the site at night.

Just alight at the terminal and wait for the habal-habal driver to bring you to the Hobbit House Bukidnon. You can call the habal-habal who brought me there on my last visit to mobile number 0926-796 9098 (hope he won’t change his cell number).

Alternatively, you can tell the bus driver to drop you off at Casisang Elementary School in Malaybalay City, where you could find public habal-habal/motorbikes to bring you to the Hobbit House. Fare is PHP 100/person.If you are from Cagayan de Oro, the landmark is CCF, before the Malabaly City Hall. If you are coming from Davao, it is right after the Malaybalay City Hall.
