Craving the flavorful shrimp and delectable calamari from our visit
A Review of Ciano’s Seafood Grill and Bar
Exploring New Tastes:
Located on Carlos Magalona St., the place specializes in fresh seafood dishes while also offering a variety of native delicacies. Eager to savor their specialties, we opted for their seafood platter, which featured delectable fried bangus, steamed crabs, calamari, and shrimp. We also indulged in two orders of their mouthwatering oysters and a serving of their signature kinilaw.
Counting down the days until our next visit to Ciano’s Seafood Grill and Bar. We had a fantastic dining experience, but we’re already dreaming of an even juicier oyster next time. Can’t wait to indulge in their delectable seafood offerings again!
A Taste of the Sea:
Overall, the food of the resto somehow met our expectations. The seafood platter showcased a delightful medley of flavors and textures, although we were slightly disappointed that the crabs lacked the sought-after “aligi” or crab fat. The oysters, while enjoyable, could have been juicier, and the bangus was a bit on the dry side. Nevertheless, the dishes were still tasty and showcased the freshness of the ingredients.
Capturing precious moments and cherished memories with great company. The delightful food was just the icing on the cake.
Ambiance and Atmosphere:
Ciano’s Seafood Grill and Bar provided a pleasant dining environment, albeit not particularly remarkable. What caught our attention were the charming “bahay kubo” structures that offered a cozy and private dining experience separate from the main dining area. We learned that the restaurant also hosts live bands during nighttime, adding to the vibrant ambiance.
Savoring the incredible flavors of the fish kinilaw. It’s a burst of freshness and tanginess that leaves you wanting more. Highly recommended!
A Local Gem:
It’s important to note that this review is not sponsored, and we share our honest opinions about our experience at the place. While our visit didn’t leave us in awe, we believe it is still a worthwhile option for locals and visitors in E.B. Magalona and its neighboring areas. The restaurant’s focus on seafood dishes and its rustic setting provides a unique dining experience for seafood lovers and those seeking a break from the city’s hustle and bustle.
Conclusion:
Ciano’s Seafood Grill and Bar in E.B. Magalona offers a delightful array of seafood delights and native dishes. While some aspects of the dining experience didn’t quite meet our expectations, the overall quality of the food, cozy ambiance, and the friendly nature of the staff make it a viable option for locals and visitors alike. The warm and accommodating staff added to the positive experience, ensuring that we felt welcomed and attended to throughout our visit.
So, if you find yourself in the northern part of Negros Occidental, make sure to drop by this place for a satisfying seafood feast and experience the genuine hospitality of their staff!
