BAGO CITY: HOME TO GREAT SUMMER AND MOUNTAIN RESORTS

I was raised in Brgy Ma-ao, Bago City ,Negros Occidental and I can’t help but boast a bit of the potential of our City as a tourist destination.

BUENOS AIRES MOUNTAIN RESORT

Very close to Brgy Ma-ao is Buenos Aires Mountain Resort located in Brgy. Ilijan ,Bago City.  This is where I used to swim each time I would go home from Bacolod City years back. It would only take less than an hour from Brgy. Ma-ao to go to Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires Mountain resort has a mini hotel and cottages which one can stay comfortably during  their vacation. It also has some halls which can be used for parties and seminars. I had conducted a couple of training in this resort for some of my clients. Buenos Aires has  four swimming pools with flowing water coming from the mountain.

RAFAEL SALAS PARK AND NATURE CENTER

A few kilometers from the Buenos Aires is the Rafael Salas Park and Nature Center. There are two routes one can take to reach the resort: one is via La Carlota and another is the road which would pass Buenos Aires. Rafael Salas Park and Nature Center has waterfalls which would surely delight vacationers  especially those who love nature and hiking.
Rafael Salas Park has a dormitory which can be utilized for some seminars and training.  I had conducted also a lot of teambuilding seminars in the said place. I love the cold temperature at Rafael Salas because you won’t need an AC to make yourself comfortable even during daytime. The view is breathtaking definitely plus the fog which you will experience once in awhile during daytime and of course during night time and early morning.

KIPOT WTIN FALLS

Another great feature of Bago City is the Kipot Twin Falls. Kipot Twin Falls is just a few kilometer from Buenos Aires. Bago City put up a viewing deck which will enable visitors to just marvel at the sight should they opt not to go down the river.

PATAAN MOUNTAIN RESORT

Few kilometers away from the Kipot Twin Falls is the Pataan Mountain Resort. Pataan takes pride of its falls which is very accessible for the visitors. The place also caters to some activities like training.

The latest in Bago City’s list of treasures is the Tinago Mountain Resort, formerly known as Hidden Valley. A few kilometers away from Pataan, Tinago Mountain Resort has  cottages and  swimming pools. The resort has waterfalls, too.

THE QUITE PLACE

If you want a place that is near  Bacolod City, you can try the Quite place in Tabunan, Bago City. Also, one of my favorite seminar venue, the place is true to her name…very quite. It has 2 large pavilions and a large pool which you can enjoy after the training.
