If you want good food and romantic place for your date , Marciano’s is a place to check. Marciano’s is inspired by the great Italian American boxer Rocky Marciano, who was the heavyweight champion of the world from 1952 to 1956. Marciano has 43 knockouts to his name. With a record of 87.8% knockout rate, he remains to be the only heavyweight champion in boxing history to retire having won every fight in his professional career.
They basically have Italian food. On my last visit I tried their Pork Medallion which I paired with Potato Ridges which I wasn’t able to finish due to their large serving size. Prices are relatively reasonable and the service are quite okey.
Marciano’s has nice interiors and use elegant décor . The dining room is quite grand and dramatic with the use of black chairs on gilded gray frame. The ceiling is covered with mirrors and on the right side red velvet drapes serve as a semi partition for each tables . Chandeliers add elegance to the place. The menu is quite extensive and intriguing with the names of the dishes associated to what New York is famous for, whether a movie, television series, business or NY icons.
Marciano’s is located at Level 2, Greenbelt 3, Ayala Center Makati
