Jojo Vito Designs Gallery exhibited his large collections of masks at Robinsons Place Bacolod City. The exhibit was entitled “yuhum” which is a vernacular term for a smile. The mask collections range from the large giant masks , masks on frames , party masks, wall decor masks,and wearable masks. The masks rendered in various souvenir items like key holders and magnets , pencil holders were also part of the exhibit.
It is worthwhile to mention that all masks on exhibit were all handmade. Local artisans rendered these happy masterpieces in various tones and color palettes creating variations from the designs created by Jojo Vito. Through the years, the brand “Jojo Vito” has been synonymous to the Masskara Festival of Bacolod City. Hence, it’s not surprising that these masks now reaches various places abroad.
The exhibit was in time for the celebration of Bacolod City’s world renowned “Maskara Festival”.
