LCC STUDENTS, EXTREME ADVENTURE IN CEBU

LCC STUDENTS, EXTREME ADVENTURE IN CEBU

Adventure is what I desire each time I get bored . Well, I’m not bored that time…its just that we have no where to go anymore in the  two-day educational trip to Cebu we gave our marketing students at La Consolacion College-Bacolod.

I do frequent Cebu City. Aside from an occasional leisure trip, I have a regular training gigs being conducted in Cebu. But in most of my trips, I just stay in the hotel after doing my official businesses. But  not this time— I was with my students wherein most of them were first  timers  in the Queen City of the South. These young fellows  would really love to explore and maximize their trip.

So after visiting famous sites in the City, I  just asked our  van driver of where else we can go .

The driver  brought us to  Doce Pares Mountain Training Park, high above the hills of Busay. The park is a 15-minute drive from JY Square in Lahug and right before TOPS lookout in Busay Cebu.   The park offers various extreme adventure activities like zipline , wire walt, tarzan swing and many more.

I have tried the zipline in Bukidnon, the longest dual zipline in Asia. I also tried the zipline in Davao.

Dr. NenettePadilla, was a bit surprised when I dared to try the zipline. She thought I was that brave. The truth is,   I have always been afraid of heights. But I have overcome my fear that why I think I need to experience the adventure  to conquer my phobia.   Definitely, climbing the flat form  where the zipline begins is already quite scary.   Honestly  the start was a bit frightening  thinking that  you are on top of the mountains of Cebu.  But the moment  you get to fly through the zip wire, the fear is overtaken by indescribable thrill that you cannot help but shout at the top your voice.

One can try the 170 and 400 meters ziplines at  200php  for the sitting position or 250php doing the superman position. There were 6 from our group who did the zipline, while others did the swing.

We were very happy seeing our students enjoyed their trip.

LCC Students, feel free to write your experience below….
