MASSKARA BODY PAINTING @ METRODOME

Body painting is I guess one of the most interested forms   of body art. Unlike tattoo and other forms of body art, body painting is temporary, painted onto the human skin, and lasts for only several hours, or at most (in the case of Mehndi or “henna tattoo”) a couple of weeks.  

Body painting is I guess one of the most interested form   of body art. Unlike tattoo and other forms of body art, body painting is temporary, painted onto the human skin, and lasts for only several hours, or at most (in the case of Mehndi or “henna tattoo”) a couple of weeks.

Nowadays, body painting becomes very popular as many artists  would like to showcase their art on a live canvas plus, of course, the willing models who would add another dimension to the paintings applied in their very own skin.

As of this writing, the Body painting competition is taking place at Metrodome  Entertainment Complex, Bacolod. Well, I am not judging this time that’s why I am doing this blog while the body painting is happening. Just for you to know why I can do this: my store “Jojo Vito Designs Gallery is located at Metrodome Complex and the competition is happening right in front of my shop.

I already took some photos and now waiting for the time that the models will present and interpret the finish products.

There are 10 sets of contestants (artist and model), 4 female category and 5 male category. I just can’t  imagine how difficult their job is. The models will be standing for an hour while being painted and after a while models will be doing some interpretive performance to present the art work.
