BOHOL TRIP PART 7: CHOCOLATE HILLS ADVENTURE PARK

BOHOL TRIP PART 7: CHOCOLATE HILLS ADVENTURE PARK

After my Chocolate Hills visit, my tour guide brought me to the latest offering of the Chocolate Hills – the Chocolate Hills Adventure Park (CHAP). The Chocolate Adventure Park offers outdoor attractions such as a zipline, canopy walk, hiking trail, various tree top adventures like monkey bridge, pipe dreams, a bike zip– a 275-meter zip line using a mountain bike to cross from one chocolate to another. The zipline is rising 150 feet above the ground.

The park entrance has souvenir stalls and a small restaurant fronting a natural pond wherein you can feed the fishes. I was experiencing hypoglycemia at that moment so I decided to stay for a while at the “serpentarium” while waiting for my sugar level to rise again. I forgot what I was feeling at that moment because we were entertained very well by the caretaker of the “serpentarium “ that exhibits not only snakes but hedgehogs and sugar gliders as well.

Soon after I felt okay we proceeded to the 248-step stone pathway leads to the wooden view deck along a hill slope. Chocolate Hills Adventure Park (CHAP) viewing deck provides an alternative vantage point of the endless verdant hills of limestone.

  • These are great and beautiful photos! Where did you take these amazing photos? Where exactly is it in bohol? I can't really tell at all where this is, it looks so beautiful! I have been there a lot but I never did saw this stunning view.

  • Bike zipping! This is something new! I need to revisit Bohol, especially after the earthquake as I was there year 2003 pa!

  • the last time I was there was in 2009, no adventure park yet. and it was typhoon season. Is this place lower than the viewing area for the chocolate hills?

    • almost the same Doc. In fact when the viewing deck wasn't available yet after the quake , people would come here to see other hills...

  • The adventure park is new! It wasn't there a couple of years ago when my brother and I went there. That is so nice. Maybe in a few years, I can already bring the whole family there. :D
