L FISHER’S STRATEGIC PLANNING at LA VISTA HIGHLAND RESORT

It’s been a while since my last visit at the La Vista Highland Resort at San Carlos City Negros Occidental. My first visit was a treat from the owner, Mr. Albert Garbanzos. But this time I went there to work as a Resource Person in L Fisher’s Strategic Planning Workshop.

We left Bacolod at 7 AM but I arrived at L Fisher Hotel (Bacolod City) our meeting place at around 6 AM. While waiting for other participants, I was given a good buffet breakfast at the hotel. I don’t normally eat that very early, but I need to because I will be facilitating a workshop and I know it would be tough considering that, that would be a Strategic Planning.

On our way to La Vista, I took the opportunity to get a sleep so that I will have more energy for the day. I was tired that time because of the so many activities for the week.

Upon reaching the place, we immediately started   the workshop.

Facilitating a Strategic Planning Workshop was no doubt to be challenging because you really need to engage yourself  101%. But I had a great group which was composed of all the Department Managers and the owners. I was also treated nicely by my client, giving me a nice accommodation and the food were overflowing.

After the session on the first day, I immediately took a nap before having our dinner. I normally do this to make sure that I will have all the needed energy until the conclusion of the session. I woke up at around 7PM and took my dinner with the rest of the group.

La Vista I guess is a very good place for a workshop like Strategic Planning. Its far from the madding crowd and the place is simply great. The amenities of the place is also perfect should one would opt to enjoy. They have a nice pool, a zip line with 1500 meters+  Round Trip Zip Line, a cable car, billiard, bar, and you can even sing with the karaoke.

Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy these facilities as my purpose for coming was to work. Maybe I’ll just come back with the family and enjoy the place .
