Eating and travelling goes hand in hand. For me, whether it’s a business or leisure trip, eating good food is always on my list.  Aside from the local food inherent in the place, I likewise  look forward to be eating good in a hotel where I am  staying.

Talking about hotel food, L’ Fisher Hotel a premier hotel in Bacolod City offers a weekend buffet that will not only delight their own guests  but even for local families who would require to hold their weekend get together. L’ Fisher’s weekend buffet  starts at Friday  Dinner, Lunch and Dinner on Saturdays and Lunch during Sundays.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to try their weekend buffet together with a really good friend Fem Magbanua. That was a celebration on my part as I just concluded a training/workshop which I conducted for the Employees of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) -Region 6. The 2-day workshop was physically running out on me being the lone speaker so I supposed it’s a sound excuse to indulge once again. Also, I wanted to catch up with my friend, Fem.

Dining at L’ Fisher is always delightful, first it’s a hotel so the ambiance is nice and definitely they have good food.

I arrive ahead of Fem and I was already starving so I just started tasting their sausages and cheeses while waiting. After awhile Fem arrived so we started together indulging in the diverse offerings of L’Fisher.

While taking our food we bumped at Chef Denis Lemon, L’ Fisher’s Executive Pastry Chef and happened to be our Facebook friend as well. Listening from Chef Denis just amazed me, particularly his love for his trades.

L’ Fishers weekend buffet offers a wide array of International cuisines. Ace of the staff suggested for us to try their crab which was cooked instantly before us.

Aside from food, I really like the staff at L’ Fisher, they were really thoughtful and courteous making our dining experience yet more delightful.

The weekend buffet at L’Fisher only costs PHP 699.00/person, but they have a 50% offer. To enjoy the 50% discount one must arrive at the station during dinner at 6:00 to 6:30 PM for dinner and 11:00 – 11:30 AM for lunch. With the 50% discount, this buffet will still be cheaper compared when dining in an ordinary restaurant.
