COMES AND SEE ,THE “PALANGGA” (BELOVED) ART EXHIBIT

Jojo Vito Designs Gallery will hold an Art Exhibit dubbed as “Palangga” at Metrodome Center, Araneta Street, Bacolod City. The exhibit will showcase relief sculptures and paintings all anchored on the theme “Palangga” (Beloved). Palangga Art Exhibit will also showcase the works of other local artists: Ptr. Arthur Bayles, Mirriam Bayles,  Nunistell Mae Fulo- Lee and Ernie Mallorca.  “Palangga” Art Exhibit  shall open on  March 25 at 5:00 PM with a short ceremony and   will run  until April 12, 2014.

The Artists:

ARTHUR C. BAYLES & MIRRIAM BAYLES

Pastor Art  is the  Senior Pastor of  Geo Evangel Missions, Inc.A graduate of  B.S. Architecture, LCC- Bacolod and   Masters in Biblical Studies – Asian Theological Seminary, Bacolod City. Ptr. Bayles holds membership in various arts and professional groups such as  Unyon ng  Mga Manunulat sa Pilipinas (UMPIL) ;Samahang Kristiyanong Makasining(SAKRISMA); Christian Art Society of the Philippines (CASP )  ; Kapisanan ng Mga Brodkasters sa Pilipinas (KBP). He is one of the Founding Member of Art Association of Bacolod- Negros (AAB) and the Founder of   Christian Artists Negrense Visual Arts Society (CANVAS) Held countless, group and one man-shows and was recognized recently by the City of Bacolod in the field of Visual Arts.

Miriam Bayles. A pastor’s wife and also a Preacher. She is a  Teacher, Visual Artist, Creative Writer. Miriam hold membership to various professional and arts-related organizations: Unyon  Mga Manunulat sa Pilipinas (UMPIL) ;Samahang Kristiyanong Makasining (SAKRISMA); Christian Art Society of the Philippines;  Art Association of Bacolod- Negros;  (Christian Artists Negrense Visual Arts Society ; Kapisanan ng Mga Brodkasters sa Pilipinas and ;the Feminine Touch Female Visual Artists .She is the founder of  BABAYI Artists Group . Recording Artist/Composer of some  Original Gospel Music; she has written scripts for playwrights and children’s books and published by New Day Publishers. She was recognized recently by the City of Bacolod in the fields of Literature.

ERNIE PANGANIBAN MALLORCA

a.k.a. KALBO ,this is what he use to sign all his artworks. He is a College Instructor at LCC-Bacolod, He is Freelance Graphic, Print, Layout and Advertising Needs Designer. Ernie recently found his niche in painting using  Pen and Ink Illustration composed of different techniques/processes ranging from the use of Tangled Patterns which he  called Tangling, the use of basic drawing techniques for creating values such as Tone and Texture which exactly include cross-hatching, contour-hatching, hatching, scribbling, and stippling.

NUNISTELL MAE FULO-LEE

A graduate of BS Fine Arts major in Advertising at LCC-Bacolod. A Former member of Bayanihan Dance Troupe. Presently, she is the Vice-president of Art Association of Bacolod and was given recently a Certificate of Recognition by the City of Bacolod in the field of Dance and Visual Arts. Lee has already  joined numerous shows.

JOJO VITO

A designer of   furniture, furnishing and novelty items of his  own  business. He has received quite a number of recognition in design excellence; and was recently recognized by the City of Bacolod in the Field of Visual Arts. A graduate of the following: BS Psychology; BS Business Administration; Master in Business Administration, Master in Public Administration (MPA-CAR) , with Units in Master in Biblical Studies and Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration. A management consultant, graduate school instructor and entrepreneur.
