ABS-CBN MASK MAKING CONTEST WINNERS

For 18 years now ABS-CBN continues to discover  and providing opportunities for local artists to showcase their talents in mask making.

I was privileged to be one of the judges in the finals night the Mask Making Contest  wherein  the top 20 entries  were modeled  and judged. I was also had the chance to judge in the past contest and I saw how the entries were improving each year. We really had the-the difficulty in making a decision.

The entries were spectacular, and I just can’t help but be awed by the details and craftsmanship  of each mask. Yasmin Pascual-Dormido hosted the show.  Congratulations ABS-CBN, Ms. Leilanie Salem-Alba, Marty Go and Ruby Ore.

 

Ms. Kristine Tomas, Marketing Manager of Robinsons Place awarding the Unique Mask Award.The winning entry is made of tiny shells  intricately assembled to form a fabulous piece.

Mr. Lito Salvio of To Go Travels giving a special award  a “Supercat” Mask

Ms. Siony Hijara, Site Director of Panasiatic Solutions awards the People’s Choice Award. The award was based on the number of likes this mask generate from an ABS-CBN FB Site.
