A TASTE OF ASIAN CUISINES AT SM CITY BACOLOD FOOD COURT

If you are constantly in a hurry, or somebody who’s looking for variety or someone who wants’ good food at an affordable price, and so you should get to a food court. In a food court, you will surely find multiple food vendors which offer a broad array of food choices.

Efraim Valencia, Manager, SM City Bacolod FoodCourt

Recently, we were tempted to sample a mixture of Asian culinary arts offered by four food vendors at SM City Bacolod – Food Court: Tokyo Joe which serves Japanese Food, Mr. Kimbob which offers Korean Cuisines, Four Seasons which serves Chinese Fares and Kublai Khan which offers Mongolian Dishes.

TOKYO JOE (JAPANESE)
If you enjoy Japanese food, and so you will love Tokyo Joe. It’s pretty much affordable for a Japanese Food, you can choose between Chicken, Pork and Beef Rice…they have Bento too. They have chopsticks available , but if you’re not comfy using it you can also request for a spoon and fork.

MR. KIMBOB (KOREAN)
What I like about Mr Kimbob is that it’s a no frills basic Korean meal served in a hot plate but made out in assembly line manner. Their signature Bibimbap is served as a bowl of tender white rice topped with normal (sautéed and seasoned vegetables) and gochujang (chili pepper paste), soy sauce, a salty soybean paste. A raw or fried egg and shredded meat (usually beef) are common additions. The hot dish is stirred together thoroughly just before eating. It is cheap eats and very satisfying. And for a complete Korean meal experience you should include kimchi in your card.

FOUR SEASONS (CHINESE)
What’s nice about Chinese food is that our taste buds are so intimate with it. From their ship, siomai and dumplings all these were tight to our center.
From the group that brought you Vikings Luxury Buffet
Their food, despite being a speedy-serve restaurant, is actually unspoilt. Their noodles are a must try and their price is reasonable enough.

KUBLAI KHAN (MONGOLIAN)
This restaurant is perfect for anyone looking for a fast, savory and affordable way to satisfy their tummy’s cravings! Their warrior bowl is for only 95. I haven’t tried their other dishes yet, but I will surely come back to try for more.

Try SM City Foodcourt and tell us about your dining experience.
