 Sinulog Festival Queen 2017 ,Trickcy Concepcion from Sibulan , Negros Oriental was flanked  by her court duri9ng the coronation night of Sinulog sa Kabankalan Queen Coronation night. Claire Porras from Victorias City, Negros Occidental was the First Runner–up and Michelle Teves from Bais, Negros Oriental  was the Second Runner-Up

SINULOG FESTIVAL QUEEN CORONATION NIGHT | KABANKALAN CITY

Sinulog sa Kabankalan named her new queen last January 12, 2017, at Kabankalan City Gym. Ten lovely candidates from various parts of Negros Island competed for the crown. Each of these candidates was sponsored by the different barangays in Kabankalan City.

Here’s the 2017  Sinulog sa Kabankalan Beauties:

Candidate Number 1.  Zynneth Carmel Zamora from Amlan, Negros Oriental  –Sponsored by Brgy. Locotan, Kabankalan City. Zynneth was awarded during the night as Best in Professionalism.

Candidate Number 2. Vina Peña from Bacolod City – Sponsored by Brgy. Tampalon, Kabankalan.

Candidate Number 3.  Tecia Tuquero from Kabankalan – Sponsored by Brgy. 7, Kabankalan City. Tecia was awarded during the coronation night the following special awards: Globe Texter’s Choice Award; Miss Chicken Deli, and Miss Photogenic.

Candidate Number 4.  Jessa Hebolario from Valencia, Negros Oriental – Sponsored by Brgy. Inapoy, Kabankalan. Jessa bagged the Photographer’s Choice Award.

Candidate Number 5. Mendy Mae De Guia from Siaton, Negros Oriental  – Sponsored by Brgy. Hilamonan

Candidate Number 6. Michelle Teves from Bais, Negros Oriental sponsored by Brgy. Bantayan, Kabankalan City. Apart from winning the Second Runner-up spot, Michelle was named during the pageant as Miss Congeniality (Miss Merzci).

Candidate Number 7. Claire Therese Porras from Victorias City, Negros Occidental- sponsored by Brgy. 2, Kabankalan City. Claire bagged the First Runner – Up and Best in Festival Costume Awards.

Candidate Number 8. Princess Joy Gabiota from Cadiz City, Negros Occidental – sponsored by Brgy. Talubangi, Kabankalan City. Princess Joy won the Miss Talent Award.

Candidate Number 9. Chainee Ang, from Sagay City, Negros Occidental sponsored by Brgy. Oringao, Kabankalan City. Chainee won the Best in Swimsuit Award.

Candidate Number 10. Trickcy Concepcion from Sibulan , Negros Oriental sponsored by Brgy. Tapi, Kabankalan City. Apart from the being crowned as the Sinulog Festival Queen 2017, Trickcy also won the Best Speaker and Best in Long Gown Awards.

ABOUT SINULOG SA KABANKALAN  FESTIVAL     About Sinulog Festival Sinulog sa Kabankalan is the city’s version of the famous Ati-atihan Festival. Kabankalan transforms the third Sunday of January of every year into a day of riotous revelry as dancers painted in black soot stamp to the wild beating of drums. The festival’s highlights include the Street Dance and Arena Competition and the Sinulog Festival Queen search among others.
