HAPPY TRIPPERS FROM MANILA AT JOJO VITO DESIGNS GALLERY

I was writing an article ,the  75 Things to do When Visiting Bacolod City  for my other blog, www.toponmylist.com when a group of guests from Manila visited our shop, the Jojo Vito Designs Gallery. Since I was inside, I was informed immediately by my staff. Well, I do personally attend to our guests whenever I can.

They have no tour guide accompanying them, so I asked them how did they learn about our place. And my heart leaps when I learned that  it’s through my blog, the www.thehappytrip.com. To be specific, they used the article entitled “12 Things To Do When Visiting Bacolod City”. I always felt honored whenever I receive a message from my readers asking me questions about my trips and the more I felt satisfied whenever I have guests who learned about us (Jojo Vito Designs Gallery)  through the net. It gives me an affirmation not only as an artist, but as a blogger as well.

The four of them decided to do one of the interactive activities  we offered in our gallery, the “Mask Painting”. While they were choosing  on the carcasses of the  masks which they wanted to paint, we had a short conversation about their trip in Bacolod. Luckily they gave me good words about their trip in Bacolod, they were very courteous and fun people to begin with.

As they were about to start painting, I told them a short background about Masskara Festival so that they will have an idea on how the Bacolod Mask should look like. Upon learning the background of the festival they started to pick the colors they will be using  as their base for the masks. They were fast learners and happy people so I also had a great time assisting them to begin their painting session.

After a while , I left them as they might want to have a time amongst themselves while doing the activity. But I made sure that there were staff attending to them and I also come back every now and then. Finally, they completed their masterpieces.
