YAKIMIX BUFFET RESTAURANT | BACOLOD CITY

The Yakimix Buffet Restaurant is a Sushi and  Smokeless Grill Restaurant that recently opened in Bacolod City. The restaurant is located at the Ground Floor, North Wing of SM City Bacolod. Yakimix serves a combination of Japanese, Korean, and other Asian cuisines.

I’ve heard good reviews about Yakimix and this time it’s my turn to try out their sumptuous buffet. It’s impressive how the food selections are beautifully arranged on every table so that customers would find it easy to choose the food of their preference. It was lunchtime when we went there and I saw that the lines were organized so that going to and from the buffet table was quite easy. Laden on the table was beef broccoli, sautéed tofu, fried chicken lollipop, pizza, stir-fried noodles, salmon head, salmon belly, crabs and many other dishes.

Sukiyaki Delight at Yakimix

The Sukiyaki bar was such a delight for me. I had my bowl filled with generous amounts of beef slices, fish balls, squid, chikuwa (Singaporean street food), fish cake and vegetable vermicelli. I savored the sweetness of the soup which went well with a dash of pepper. It was a complete meal by itself!

Japanese & Korean Food invasion, Yakimix

Of course, our visit to Yakimix wouldn’t be complete without trying their tempura and grilled tender beef and pork cuts and fresh large shrimps. My blogger friends and I enjoyed the experience of grilling meat, seafood and street food one piece after the other. Beside the Sukiyaki bar, were all kinds of my favorite Asian street food—fish cake, authentic squid balls, fish balls, chikuwa, fish roll, octopus tentacles and more.

Sweet Choices at Yakimix

After a heavy meal, there’s still room for sweets and I’m glad Yakimix has an array of desserts for adults and children to choose from. Of course, there’s ice cream, chocolate fondue with marshmallows, cakes and fruit selections. There was a long queue for crepes so I just got chocolate pannacotta, a creamy dessert in a small glass, similar to black sambo. The halo-halo bar was also a hit.

Yakimix Ambiance, Capacity & Prices…
