October 27: Bacolod to Hanoi [Vietnam Via Klook and Agoda- Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Ho Chi Minh ]

Our adventure began as we boarded our flight to Hanoi via Manila. Even with the anticipation of sleepless nights ahead, the excitement was palpable. We touched down in the charming city of Hanoi on October 28, leaving our luggage at the hotel as we prepared for the journey that lay ahead.

October 28: A Glimpse of Hanoi [Vietnam Via Klook and Agoda- Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Ho Chi Minh ]

With no time to waste, we embarked on a walking tour around the historic Old Quarters of Hanoi. The labyrinthine streets were a treasure trove of bustling markets, street food vendors, and hidden gems. Hoan Kiem Lake, a serene oasis in the heart of the city, was our first stop, offering a tranquil contrast to the bustling surroundings.

After a day of exploration, we retired to our hotel, weary but content, ready to rest up for the adventures yet to come.

October 29: Halong Bay Awaits [Vietnam Via Klook and Agoda- Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Ho Chi Minh ]

We couldn’t wait to set sail on Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning limestone karsts and emerald waters. After checking out of our hotel, we made a clever move by booking a room for our return on October 30, allowing us to leave our luggage securely.

Our Halong Bay adventure, booked through Klook, was a highlight of our trip. A leisurely cruise, exploring caves, and kayaking in the bay made for a day to remember.

Returning from the serene beauty of Halong Bay, we checked back into our hotel in Hanoi. Eager to dive into the city’s rich culture, we embarked on a Hanoi city tour, with some shopping thrown in. The bustling streets surrounding Hoan Kiem Lake provided endless shopping opportunities, and we indulged in culinary delights in the vibrant restaurant scene.

Our next destination was Ho Chi Minh City, a bustling metropolis in the south. Cu Chi Tunnel, a one-day excursion, brought history to life as we explored the underground network used during the Vietnam War.
