Note: Upon your arrival at the airport, ensure to exchange your currency for Vietnamese Dong, or consider doing so in your country before departure. US Dollars are widely accepted, and surprisingly, some establishments even welcome Philippine Pesos. Major establishments readily accept credit cards. Additionally, purchasing a SIM card at the airport is advisable, as navigating Vietnam without data can pose challenges.

Morning: The first morning in Hanoi is like stepping into a vibrant tapestry of life. Upon arriving, drop your luggage at the hotel and dive into the lively energy of the city. The central district is a perfect starting point for a captivating walking tour, immersing yourself in the authentic Vietnamese culture. And don’t miss out on sampling the local delicacies; the food scene is a story in itself.

Afternoon: Venture into the historical treasures of Hanoi. Pay your respects at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, explore the serene One Pillar Pagoda, and discover the grandeur of  St. Joseph’s Cathedral is another gem worth exploring, offering a deeper understanding of Hanoi’s rich history and cultural heritage.

Evening: As twilight descends, Hanoi metamorphoses into a city of enchantment. Stroll around the serene Hoan Kiem Lake, a tranquil oasis amidst the urban hustle. The night stalls around the lake offer a delightful array of street food, making it an excellent spot for a leisurely evening. Consider indulging in some local delicacies and maybe even engage in a bit of thrift shopping. With a heart full of memories, it’s time to retire to your hotel for a well-deserved night’s sleep.
