2 BRAND NEW SUPERCAT FAST FERRIESNOW SAILING | CEBU, TAGBILARAN, ORMOC

Great news for the traveling public 2GO, Philippines’ biggest shipping and logistics company launched two brand new SuperCat Fast ferries to serve the ports of Cebu, Tagbilaran, and Ormoc.

The M/V St. Sariel, the newest addition to the SuperCat fleet will be serving the Cebu – Tagbilaran. M/V St. Sariel is a 300-seater passenger fast ferry with high-tech and world-class navigate by wire and touch system navigational controls is the route.

Earlier before the launching of M/V St. Sariel, the M/V St. Camael was also launched to serve the Cebu-Ormoc Route. M/V St. Camael is the sister fast ferry of M/V St. Sariel.

The launching of M/V St. Camael was attended by Cebu City’s Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella who lead the cutting of the ceremonial ribbon along with 2GO Travel and SuperCat executives.

According to Lito M. Salvio, SuperCat General Manager, “These two new SuperCat Fast Ferries are Australian-designed and proudly 100% Philippine-made being constructed by Filipino engineers.

Both M/V St. Sariel and M/V St. Camael were built by Austal, a renowned shipbuilder for more than 25 years. Austal is an international company which is known for the high-quality ships they built together with the systems and support for the world’s leading operators.

The SuperCat by 2GO Travel was recently recognized as Asia’s Most Trusted Brand in Thailand and also received the Global Trade Leaders Club’s Excellence Award in Madrid, Spain.

SuperCat by 2Go Travels has now eight vessels serving the ports of Batangas, Calapan, Bacolod, Iloilo, Cebu, Tagbilaran and Ormoc. These only goes to show that traveling to these various routes will be faster and more convenient.
