We were supposed to go out for lunch but since it was already quite late to travel out for lunch, the organizer decided to just have us dine in at Puso Restaurant at Quest Hotel which was good because I had the chance to have a short rest in our room. I didn’t have a sleep the night prior to the trip due to my series of training engagements and blogging works.
During lunch time, we were able to meet the media men and bloggers from Iloilo as well as the Executives of Globe and the friendly people of PR Works.
Before we left for our afternoon adventure, we were asked to change our shirts into nice Globe Shirts. Globe has now nice apparels available in all of their company-owned stores nationwide.
CEBU TAOIST TEMPLE
At around 2 PM the group left the hotel for our afternoon adventure. The first destination was the Taoist Temple located at Canyon Road, Beverly Hills Subdivision, Lahug, Cebu City.
The Cebu Taoist Temple’s main entrance was patterned after The Great Wall of China. The place has a shrine for prayers, wishing well, balconies wherein you can see a nice vista of Cebu, souvenir shops and much more.

The place is owned by Teodorico Soriano Adarna, owner of Queensland Motels. He is dedicating the place to his late wife – Leah Villa Albino Adarna. Temple of Leah is resting atop the hills of Busay in Cebu City. While the construction is still ongoing at the place, numerous tourists are already visiting the attraction because of the hype it gets from the media.

After Terrazas De Flores Botanical Garden, we were supposed to go back to the hotel to freshen up but we were afraid of the traffic so the group decided to proceed to SM Seaside City, Cebu for our dinner. As expected Globe prepared for a great gastronomic experience for all of us. We were all filled and while Globe wanted to bring us to another place that night, we begged off because most of us were all tired.
After SM Seaside Dinner, we all went back to our hotel. While I wanted to sleep early, I still have to stay for a couple of hours to work on my blogs and my training materials for my consultancy projects.
