One of the most exciting activities to do when visiting South Cotabato is to experience the Lake Sebu 7 Falls and try the highest zip line in Southeast Asia. The majestic 7 cascading falls are located at Barangay Lake Seloton.
My recent visit in Lake Sebu was part of the activity which was organized by the Tourism Department of South Cotabato. I was so privileged to have been invited to be the lone travel blogger outside the Mindanao Region to join the group.
I was a bit sleepy that day because of the fun bonding activity we had the night before with other bloggers and the Tourism Executives of South Cotabato.
That was quite early when we arrived at the place so there were not many visitors yet. Just like in some other tourist spots, shops selling souvenirs can also be found at the place.
We headed first at the first waterfalls. The first Falls, which they called Hikong Alo is the most accessible and I should say the widest. But don’t take my word for it, I just saw the other 6 Falls from afar.
At the first Falls is a small stall selling some souvenir stuff and at the same time renting out T’boli Traditional Costumes for only PHP 50.00. Jonallier Mana-ay Perez, a Director of the Mindanao Tourism Council of Mindanao told me that it would be nice if I can have my photo for this post wearing the traditional attire. The truth is, I was only waiting for someone to push me to do such as I might hamper our schedule for the day. Upon seeing that I was garbed in T’boli Costume while having my photos taken, other participants started to follow me. Thanks to Zhaun Barry Agabe, Tourism Officer of South Cotabato for taking care of all the rentals for us.
After our photo op, we headed to the Zipline area, a must-try adventure at Lake Sebu 7 Falls. The zip line is the only way to see the other falls as others are not accessible or easy to reach. The Zipline at Lake Sebu is one of the cheapest Zipline treats I ever experienced. For only PhP 250, one can already have the loudest scream of their life. The zip line at Lake Sebu 7 Falls is claimed to be the highest zip line in Southeast Asia offering a spectacular view of the Falls and of lush greeneries.
Other Falls at Lake Sebu are named s follows: Falls 2: Hikong Bente; Falls 3: Hikong B’Lebel; Falls 4: Hikong Lowig; Falls 5: Hikong Ukol; Falls 6: Hikong K’Fo-I; Falls 7: Hikong Tonok
If you are visiting Lake Sebu and would try the zip line for the first time, I would like to share with you some tips for the best zip line experience

Hi sir jojo, good day! Actually i'm here just to find the photographer in Lake Sebu Zipline. Maybe you can help me to get the once in lifetime experience photo with them as they gave me a blanked CD copy.
Thanks in advance,
Erl
I agree with your tips and must say, it is very important to hear and do what you are told, especially when you are new to Zip-lining. Thanks for sharing this, it helps a lot especially to those new to zip line adventure!
Looks lovely but there is no way in hell I would be doing that....yup...certified chicken here
I haven't gone zipping yet but it is available in the fort in my city, so will try now, because your post makes it look like so much fun!
Wow it looks so exhilarating and in such a beautiful location too! Ive never tried zip lining but I'd love toggle it a go someday!
I have always wanted to zipline and these views look amazing! Maybe one day I'll get the chance to visit and take the plunge.
On one of our vacations to Mexico, we visited a park called Xplor Mexico that was a zip line park! It was a ton of fun! I would highly recommend getting out and going to a zip line park as you get to see things from a new view! That's awesome that you were able to take some great pictures as well!
