The Island is one of the favorite tourist destinations in the Philippines, attracting tourists from various parts of the globe. Tagbilaran is the city capital and center of trade and commerce of the Province of Bohol.
Bohol, Philippines is composed of one main island and 75 smaller islands and islets.
There are various ways to explore the Island. The easiest is to book a Bohol Tour Package.
Presented below are several activities which you can do for five days stay in Bohol Island:
Day 1 Bohol, Philippines Countryside Tour
Day 2 Bohol Island Hopping
Day 3 Panglao Island Tour
Day 4 Danao Adventure
Day 5 Anda Beach Adventure
Of course, your trip and the adventure you will pick would depend on how many days you will be staying on the Island.
This itinerary will cover for a day visiting historical landmarks of Bohol as follows:
LOBOC CHURCH
The Loboc Church in Bohol suffered much during the 2013 earthquake. While still unrepaired as of this moment, it would also be interesting to pay a visit to this great church.

BACLAYON CHURCH
Baclayon Church is the oldest church in Bohol, Philippines. The church building which suffered from the 2013 earthquake was constructed in 1727. It has a museum housing fantastic collection of religious artifacts and treasures.
LOBOC AND BILAR MAN-MADE FOREST
The Loboc and Bilar Man-made Forest is a 2 kilometer stretch of hardwood trees planted on the border of Loboc and Bilar towns. Because of the uniformity of trees growing in the area, tourists can’t help but notice such a fantastic kaleidoscope of foliage lining the route.

Bohol created two bamboo bridges at Sipatan River connecting two Barangays in Sevilla. The Hanging bamboo Bridges measure 20 to 25 meters high above and span 40 meters long. While crossing, the bridges sway, giving you a different kind of thrill.
BLOOD COMPACT SITE
Even for a few minutes, do drop by at the Blood Compact Site in Bohol, located in Barangay Bool, Tagbilaran City. The Blood Compact Site was made in remembrance of the historic event in the Philippine history done between Spain’s Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and Bohol’s Rajah Sikatuna.
National Artist Napoleon Abueva created the sculpture depicting the Sikatuna-Legaspi blood compact, which is considered as the First Treaty of Friendship between Spain and the Philippines. This historical event is now celebrated in Bohol through its “Sandugo Festival.”

The prices might have increased, but for sure, it will not be that significant.

You can reach Bohol by air and sea. Various domestic airlines offer direct flights to Tagbilaran City, the capital of the Island. There also passenger ships and ferries plying the routes between coastal cities and towns of the Island
By Air: For guests coming abroad, you can take a flight to either Manila or Cebu before taking another flight or boat ride to Bohol. Cebu City is preferable than Manila since it is closer. If you are flying in Manila, you can choose any of the daily domestic flights to Tagbilaran City (Bohol Airport), which takes about an hour and fifteen minutes.
By Sea: Much slower than an aircraft, Ferries, and ships can save you a whole lot of money, especially if you are not in a hurry. RoRos are coming from Manila that pass by Tagbilaran, Bohol.
From Cebu, you may choose to ride a fast craft to Tagbilaran City Seaport. This usually takes about an hour and a half. For guests traveling on a budget, there are slower ferries that can take you to Bohol at less than half the price of fast crafts, but they usually travel in four hours.
There are also boat rides in the Northern part of Bohol, such as Tubigon or Talibon. From Tubigon or Talibon, you can then ride a van or bus to Tagbilaran City or any other town within Bohol.
Cebu Airport to Tagbilaran City – From Cebu International Airport, you can take a taxi to Pier 4. You will then have to take a ferry. All ferries take approximately 2 hours to get to Tagbilaran City.
Tagbilaran City to Panglao – The moment you arrive at Tagbilaran City, you can take a taxi or a tricycle (a small motorcycle cab) to your hotel. Taxis are few in Bohol, so your best choice is to get a tricycle. It would be best to agree first on a fixed rate before taking your ride. For routes outside the city, you can take the jeepneys or multi-cabs.
Panglao Island – Guests going to Panglao Island, specifically Alona Beach, can have their hotel pick them up in Tagbilaran City airport or pier for an additional fee. Alona beach can also be reached by taxi or tricycle.

Adventure Park [ Bohol, Philippines Travel Guide: Tourist Spots, Tours, Itinerary, Hotels, Resorts, Tourist Spots ]
Getting around Bohol is not that difficult. The dominant mode of transport in Tagbilaran City and other places in the Island is the tricycle, in some other Asian countries they call this “tuk-tuk.” The majority of the drivers of tricycles have an excellent tourism orientation. They can also act as your tour guide should you desire to hire them. The moment you land on the Island of Bohol you will notice that tricycle drivers will offer you some tours. In my recent visit to the Island, I saw that they have standard tour rates.
Aside from tricycles, jeepneys are also available on the Island of Bohol. Some places cannot be reached by the standard mode of transportation. In this case, Habal-habal (motorcycle) comes conveniently. However, please take note that habal-habal is not licensed to operate; some drivers tend to drive fast without any headgear.
The most relaxed and comfortable mode of transportation is the rent-a-car. Most hotels and resorts are renting cars or can facilitate renting the vehicle for you.
I tried Habal-habal while I was on the Island because it is cheap. But on my last day, I rented a car because I was already tired.
Outside Tagbilaran: Lake Side View Resort is located at Guindulman, Bohol, Philippines. You may not want to stay here unless you have a specific business. (I went here to conduct training.)
River Cruising: Enjoy the scenic view of the place while enjoying your sumptuous meal at Loboc River.
Souvenir shops selling magnets, shirts, and much more are found in almost all of the tourist spots on the Island. it’s nice to buy some souvenirs because this is also helping the locals
The Ship Haus (Ship House) or “Bay Barko” is another spot in which you can stop on your way to Chocolate Hills. There nothing much about this place, but I just drop by for some photo op.

Hello, I would like to ask kung may marerecommend kang best place to stay for overnight but we're on a tight budget.
We are going to Bohol this coming feb 24, our arrival will be on the afternoon. We'd like to stay overnight in panglao, so that the next morning we can get easily a boat for island hopping.
Please give me some tips and advices. Thank you ☺
Hi me and my friends planning to go to bohol. Do you have contact person for loboc river cruise and also for island hopping?
Thanks in advance!
You can just inquire from your hotel, or any vehicle driver the moment you arrive in Bohol. Anyone will offer you a tours and their prices are almost the same :)
This is very informative! Thank you for this!
“I hope you can read this ASAP….. we are planning to do your Day 1 itinerary but we have much questions heheheeheh….. if there some payment in every place that you mentioned like entrance fee or something? and from Manila(actually where in Manila? hahaha), what can you suggest as the best Boat/Ferry that we can ride?… thank you and more power.
Hi Sam sorry for the late reply, for the I don't know if you refer to my Day 1 itinerary which is the countryside tour or the 1 day Island hopping tour. For the Country Side tour, the entrance fees are very minimal e.g. P15. For the Island hopping, you need to rent a boat your hotel can help you find the cheapest one. Also, almost all rates in Bohol are the same and standardized: enjoy your trip
