I was so tired coming a whole day training engagement as a resource person with Central Negros Electric Cooperative’s “Achieving Excellence in Customer Service Training”.

From Sta. Fe Resort where I conducted the training, I headed straight to SM City Bacolod to catch other members of Negros Bloggers and media trying some of the services of Beauty and Butter Salon which recently opened at the North Wing Extension of SM City-Bacolod.

I arrived at around 5PM in the afternoon and some members of the Negros Bloggers and Media were still there. I was greeted by their friendly staff uniquely dressed in black and yellow with a skirt like apron mimicking the design of the wall . Very noticeable in the looks of their staff was the unusual little paper crown which triggered me to crack a joke: “So I will treated by a princess”.After introducing myself they also introduce their various services which I can try. I thought Beauty and Butter is only for women but I was surprise knowing that they have some services for men too. Great for couples who would want some pampering together.

Because I was standing all the time from the training, I chose one of their “Footsies” service which they called in their catalog as “Keep Calm”. While my attendant was preparing her tools and materials for my treatment, I started taking pictures of the place. I like the interior design of the , the place is funky and fun. The wall paper has tribal and pop art designs print. The seating facility were very colorful as well. I also notice the black towels that were using in contrast to the commonly used white towels in other salons.

Media People opted to have “facials”

Their “footsies” service includes foot soaking, foot scrub to remove all the dead skin and mask for moisturizing. The service was just perfect for me that time, as a matter of fact I slept for a couple of minutes while I was treated by my friendly therapist. The masking includes the wrapping of the legs with plastic cellophane while the mask is on. This is to open the pores and to let the moisturizer penetrates the skin. I have to wait for 30minutes with the cellophane on my legs. So the attendant offered to do me a pedicure. She thought maybe I really need one , Lol! Well, she was right, I love to travel and have some adventure ( I am a Happy Tripper) . And each time I go for a Happy Trip adventure I usually go wearing only my sandals and a nice feet is a must especially in the airport when I need to remove my footwear.
