2014 MAHAW-MAHAW FESTIVAL

Mahaw-mahaw Festival on its 3rd year is still one of the youngest festival of Bago City, Negros Occidental .

Mahaw-mahaw came from a dialect term “mahaw” which denotes break fast,a snack or an invitation to eat. With this word comes the festival Mahaw-Mahaw. Mahaw-mahaw Festival is celebration for life; a celebration for  “Taga Ma-ao” or people of Ma-ao. That is why despite despite the small budget and lack of big sponsors they were able to stage  a successful festival.
