KONEK, an Ilonggo slang to mean the advantage of having good “connections” in business and other endeavors is the name of one of the highlights of the 26th Negros Trade Fair of the ASSOCIATION OF NEGROS PRODUCERS (ANP) at Rockewell Tent, Makati City.
KONEK, which is a venue where “Negrense IT Experts Meet Negrense Entrepreneurs” will feature short talks from experts and top executives in the information and communications sector based in Metro Manila.
Organized by the Bacolod-Negros Occidental Federation for Information and Communications Technology (BNEFIT) chaired by Jocelle Batapa-Sigue, who is also consultant of the Negros Occidental CT Investments Program under the Office of Governor Alfredo G. Marañon, Jr.
Joining the nationwide campaign to promote ICT to stand for innovate, create, transform, Batapa-Sigue said the event will help Negrense entrepreneurs in maximizing ICT to increase profitability. The attendees will get the chance to win free software and giveaways plus the opportunity to taste delicious Negrense delicacies and buy quality Negrense products.
