Unforgettable Visit To The Stone Mountain, Georgia
Contents
Another place I’ve visited in Georgia is the famous Stone Mountain. The Stone Mountain takes pride of the largest exposed granite dome in North America. Stone Mountain is home to plant and animal life that’s probably not found in other places in the world. It is also the location of the renowned giant carving remembering the military leaders of the Confederacy as well as a state park and museum, as well as a steam railroad. The historic train depot is the location of the former City Hall and the Police Department. The South wing of the depot was erected in 1856. The north wing was built in 1914. The historic train depot is the oldest structure that was burned by General Sherman during the Civil War that is still in use today.
Visitors come to see the Stone Mountain Park every year to climb to the mountain’s top; witness the park’s extravagant laser light show, or study the mountain’s larger-than-life memorial of the Confederate military leaders.
I was totally amazed by the Lasershow Spectacular at the Stone Mountain. The kids will surely love it and adults alike with state-of-the-art digital graphics and awe-inspiring effects of the in Mountain vision. This . Lasershow Spectacular is Atlanta’s version of the Songs of the Sea of Singapore and Symphony of Lights of Hongkong.
The Laser show Spectacular is indeed an Atlanta favorite. The laser show canopy creates an extremely impressive show of neon laser lights highlighting characters, stories, graphics and fireworks choreographed to popular musical scores, converting the park into a natural amphitheater.
Another nice thing to note is that the Laser show Spectacular is free with your $10.00 vehicle fee to enter the Park. The Laser show Snack Terrace and Dinner Terrace is available and offers the best view to enjoy the Laser show. You may bring your own blankets and lawn chairs. Souvenir blankets and Laser show merchandise are available at Marketplace Gifts. You can bring your own food to the Laser show and picnic on Memorial Lawn prior to the show. Glass containers and grills are not allowed on the Lawn. VIP Terrace Seating with all-you-can-eat dinner packages is also available that include a seat on a newly restored terrace.
Alcohol and pets are not allowed on Memorial Lawn. There are also spaces for wheelchairs in front of the Railroad tracks, on the concrete terraces around the Lawn and on the Memorial Hall terrace.
The Lasershow Spectacular runs at approximately 45 minutes in length.
It’s such a nice place to visit because it looks unique than other countries. #advertising
