One Afternoon at Cafe Mediterranean
Contents
I went hungry as I was browsing the stores inside the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell so looked for a place to eat. It was lunch time and most of the restaurants inside the mall were all packed . At that moment what I want was some thing to eat. Then I saw a table still empty at the Cafe Mediterranean.
Cafe Mediterranean served Greek-Mediterranean cuisines.
Shepherd’s Salad with Tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers with lemon-garlic dressing served with Pita Bread
When I asked the waiter regarding their specialty , he mentioned the following to be their best sellers: Roasted Vegetable Soup; Kebabs; Falafel; Mixed Grilled Kebab Platter (a mix of Chicken, Beef, Pork and Kofta Kebabs, serves 4); Kebab Pizza; Gyro Pizza; Panna Cotta and Tartufo.
Lentil Burger, a hearty vegetarian burger, topped with crispy onion rings and yogurt with fries sidings
Well, I didn’t opt for the options that he gave me because the portions were a bit too much for me . Instead I tried the Shepherd’s Salad which has Tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers with lemon-garlic dressing served with Pita Bread. I also ordered for the Lentil Burger, a hearty vegetarian burger, topped with crispy onion rings and yogurt with fries sidings. Finally, I ordered the Moroccan Fish Fillet: Pan-grilled fish fillets with spicy tomatoes, carrots and olives and served with Pita Bread.

I was happy with the salad and fish fillet but I felt sorry with the burger. I need to put more catsup and pepper as it appeared to me to be quite boring. But I like their food presentations which for me is also important.
Overall, that lunch was not really spectacular, but not bad as well.
I agree the vegetarian burger is really tasteless:)
