DAVAO CROCODILE FARM TRAVEL GUIDE
Contents
In this time where we are so busy about everything that is going on in our lives, we fail to go back to the original and simple living. Which is why at times, we tend to complicate things and worry too much without noticing that there are still a bunch of beauties in this world to be thankful about. If you are planning to go back to the simplicity of life and once more experience what life and nature have to offer, then I can recommend the right place for you, the Davao Crocodile Park.
You might be thinking now, why should I go here? What is something special about this park? Well, it might be an unusual place to visit, but I am telling you, this place can rekindle your love for nature, animals, and life in totality.
About the Crocodile Park
This crocodile park has made its name famous not only in the country but the entire world because of its vast collection of crocodiles and because of the high-end facilities available. It serves as one of the top tourist spots in Davao, and until now, continuous progress and development are ongoing to give the best to the visitors.
The park also serves as the abode of many other reptiles and other exotic animals. When I visited the place four years ago, I have seen a lot of animals along with different shows or performances that include the participation of some trained animals. I even had the chance of taking a big snake to be out into my shoulder and have a form of interaction with it. As scary it may sound, the lessons along with the fun moments I had here were merely beyond measure.
As additional attractions, they have the following areas open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starting from 3 o’clock in the afternoon; they have the Butterfly House, Tribu K’Mindanawan, and Crocodile Park for only 300 for adults and only 200 for the kids (2 – 12 years of age). Just a simple reminder, be at the venue of the show at least 15 minutes before the show for you to get the sit that you want. Note that photography with flash or shutter is also prohibited since it can harm the eyesight of different animals. If you are now worried that you are bringing someone with you who needs special assistance, like someone who is in a wheelchair, for example, relax because there are reserved seats to cater to their needs. Remember as well that every show lasts from at least 45-minutes up to 1 hour, a time well-spent with the spectacular show.
All in all, aside from being a tourist in the place, I hope that you learn so much from it and begin or continue taking part in the conservation of the wildlife, their respective habitat, and the environment as the whole. We are part of nature, and it is indeed fitting that we give out contribution in making it a better place, not solely for us but for all creatures.

One of the parks that I would love to visit, the Crocodile park. I guess it is a must to go there when you are traveling in Davao, sure there is a lot of attractions Davao has to offer and the crocodile park is one. I think one of the crocodile activities is the feeding time? Interesting.
