This massive artwork, now displayed at McDonald’s The Upper East in Bacolod City, is a collaboration between Megaworld and my passion for mask-making. A Mask Maker’s Journey:

In Bacolod City, I am known not only as a passionate travel blogger but also as a mask maker. Our vibrant city is famous for its annual Masskara Festival, a grand celebration of art, culture, and smiles. Being a part of this creative community has inspired me to incorporate masks into my travel blogging journey.

When deciding on a name for my beloved traveling mask, I wanted it to reflect the essence of happiness. Thus, Jojoy came to life—a fusion of “Jojo,” representing my own name, and “Joy,” symbolizing the delightful experiences I aim to share with my readers. Jojoy serves as a constant reminder that each journey should be cherished and enjoyed with a joyful heart.

Jojoy takes a fascinating step back in time at one of Thailand’s iconic historical landmarks! He frequented Thailand and got so many photos from the majestic temples of Ayutthaya to the grandeur of the Royal Palace in Bangkok, Jojoy immerses itself in the rich cultural heritage of this enchanting country. Follow Jojoy’s trail through Thailand’s historical treasures and unlock the secrets of the past.

Traveling with Jojoy:

Initially, I carried a smaller version of Jojoy, carefully designed for ease of transport during my globetrotting escapades. However, as I encountered fellow travelers and locals along the way, their interest in Jojoy grew. They eagerly requested to borrow the mask for their own photos, seeking to capture their joyous moments with this unique travel companion. Realizing the need for a perfect fit, I decided to create a new, custom-sized mask, ensuring that it can comfortably accompany anyone on their adventures.
