Happy Trip in 2012: Rewind

The year 2012 is one of the most colorful years for me. My experiences may not all that really happy but I would rather choose to just remember all that were beautiful and enriching. As I look back, I can say that 2012 was indeed a Happy Trip Year for me.

Let me share with you some of the highlights of my Happy Trip in 2012.

January 2012

January 2012 was a good start for me. It started with a TV guesting to ABS CBN’s The Morning Show . It was  also on this month where we had our  Hongkong-Macau  trip with my siblings. for 5 days we’ve enjoyed  visiting great places in Hongkong  like Disneyland, Ocean Park, and Lantau Village among others. We also enjoyed our day trip to Macau. When we went home we stayed overnight in Cebu to experience Sinulog Festival   and to visit other historical places in the province.

Kabankalan also held their own version of Sinulog Festival. Again as a family, we’d visited our cousins in Kabankalan and enjoy street dancing in the city.

The whole month of January seemed to be a bonding time for us as a family. We’ve also enjoyed the colorful Bacalaodiat Festival in Bacolod City  as a family.

February 2012

The February 2012 was also a busy month for me. As I was busy preparing for my month long trip in Thailand, I still managed to conduct a Teambuilding Seminar for Asian Alcohol and with PMAP’s “Handling Difficult Employees” Learning Session. This was also  the time that we started to construct our shop in Metrodome, now named as JOJO VITO DESIGNS GALLERY.

March 2012

That was the first week of March 2012 when we opened the Jojo Vito Designs Gallery in Metrodome. We just open it silently with a simple prayer time with our people in the shop.

Immediately after our opening, I flew to Thailand to attend a month long Leadership Training in Chiangmai .Experiencing Thailand for a month was one of the greatest gift I had for the year. During my training, I had the opportunity to develop network and friendships with various nationals and celebrate my birthday with them. Of course experiencing the culture of Thai  was amazing. April 2012

As soon as I went back from Thailand, I immediately experience once again the colorful festivals we have here in Negros. I served as a judge in the Pasalamat Festival in La Carlota City and I was also a judge in the very exciting Lin-ay sang Negros (Festival and Talent Portion).

It was also last April 2012 where I visited once again a nice beach resort in Negros, the Lakawon Island. Before the month ended, I went to Guincalaban , Negros Oriental for a church anniversary.

 

 

May 2012

Last May 2012 I had the opportunity to visit CPAC, which to me one of the most beautiful school campuses in the country. It was also in this month wherein we started to construct our simple factory in Talisay for JOJO VITO DESIGN GALLERY.

June 2012

June 2012 was the time where I started to make more designs for Jojo Vito Designs Gallery . It was also this time where I conducted a training for the Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation in Hilongos Leyte.

 

July 2012

July 2012 was a training month for me. I did a business forum for the student of Colegio San Agustin -Bacolod; had 2 batches of Teambuilding for Quan Delicacies Employees ; Constructive Performance Appraisal for NOCECO and Stress Management , Leadership and Self-Awareness Training for the Electro Cadets of Norwegian Training Center in Manila.

 

August 2012

August was the month where I conducted another Personal Effectiveness Workshop for the Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation. The Seminar was conducted in Balay Kauswagan, Negros Occidental. This was one of our busiest months also, preparing for the Negros Trade Fair held annually in Manila.

September 2012

September was the month where we had our Negros Trade Fair in Manila. Immediately after the fair, our family proceeded to Baguio City for a breather. I was also very busy preparing for my Masks Exhibits for the month of October.

October 2012

October, my busiest month for several years now. My 2012 October started with a seminar on the Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation in Lalimar, Negros Oriental.  We also mounted 2 Masks Exhibits in 2 Malls in the City: Kara for SM City and Yuhum for Robinsons.

For 6 six years now we were the official mask maker of Masskara Queen produced by ABS-CBN.

Last October we were also given a lot of opportunities to grace various media prints. We were also featured in three TV Programs. The Kapuso, Jessica Soho, Let’s Fiesta both by GMA and one Korean TV.

It was also in the month of October where INTRASPEC started one of its biggest projects with the Norwegian Ship Owners Association(NSA) . INTRASPEC conducted 24 Batches of STRESS MANAGEMENT, LEADERSHIP AND SELF-AWARENESS , TEAMBUILDING and STUDY HABIT for their cadets in Bacolod. Cebu and Davao. The Training was conducted last October and November by 7 trainers of INTASPEC.

November 2012

November 2012. We spent a couple of days in Davao for our Training with NSA; we also experience Maxima Aqua Fun, one of the most popular outdoor place and activity in Davao.  Before the month ended I went back to Davao for exposure trip for AFOS and I Also served as a judge in Ms. La Carlota City wherein I also choose the Jojo Vito Designs Gallery Ambassadress.

Robinsons Place Bacolod also featured the Jojo Vito Masks in their ChristMask Trees at Central City Walk, Bacolod.

 

December 2012

I should have more exhibits before the year ended, but I can’t accommodate some of them anymore. Instead , I just mounted one furniture exhibit in Robinsons for our Furniture and Furnishing and had one seminar for the Norwegian Training Center in Manila.

I would like to say thank you, to all those who have been part of my “Trip”.
