If you would like to take advantage of the flock of people and join them as they do their religious activities, then Wednesday is the specific day for you to head to Baclaran Church. As the place is teeming with pilgrims, the only disadvantage is that the road tends to be congested with motorists. On the other hand, if you would like to go on a much quiet and peaceful visit, you know which day to avoid.

The icon enshrined at the top of the main altar originally came from Germany. It was brought to Ireland, then Australia by the priests of the Redemptorist Order.
