It promotes sustainable tourism practices to preserve its attraction.

    2. It is not well-known compared to other tourist attractions in the country such as Boracay and the like. Its accessibility to hotels would have to be a problem as well since there is no overnight stay that is available on the island.

  4. Jastine Marie Lopez

  5. Benedict angelo capistrano

1.) This place is great for camping ideas where there is no internet but pure quality time. and really spend time with your friends and family within nogas island.

2.) The biggest problem is that this place needs more improvements like electricty, housing and other necessities to be called your “balay pahinga”

  6. After reading the article, I believe that the value proposition of Nogas Island is the island’s history and ecological significance. Antique is already packed with miniature islands with white sand beaches and pristine waters brimming with vibrant marine life and each island is packed with its own unique backstory; but what makes Nogas Island special and stand is its historical essence as a lookout point with the light house structured to oversee a scenic view of the island’s beauty and magnify one’s appreciation of the attractive landscape even further.

When selling the island to the international market, one of the challenges could be the establishment of an operational system that could provide the island an economic structure in terms of accessibility towards a person’s daily needs which is inclusive but not limited to the provision of sound transportation, stable source of food and water, electricity and access tp internet and SMS providing technology.

  7. Andrea Isabelle Pasquite

(Never mind the blogger’s pics, that’s the best look he can offer, lol).

The Nogas Island is known for its unspoiled white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and marine life, aside from that there is a historical background that it served as a hideout during World War II. The island has a tower which is unusual to find in other islands in the Philippines, and it allows tourists to see an amazing panoramic view of the whole island. Exploring the underwater, you can find vibrant marine life, coral reefs and fishes. The most impactful feature of this tourist destination is it welcomes guests with a breezy, peaceful tranquility of nature. The features of the island itself is the top selling point of the place. Far from city life, anyone can relax, enjoy, and give serenity while enjoying the beautiful views of the entire place.

    2. What should be the biggest challenge (just 1) should you sell/promote this property or place to the international market?

The biggest challenge is that Nogas Island is a relatively small, hidden place. Some might not know the exact location of the island, and the transportation might be a factor that hinders tourists from visiting the place. There are also no food stalls available on the island, no accommodation rooms to stay, lack of shade which is also a factor that limits guests to rest on the island. Even though the island is surrounded by scenery, filled with beautiful underwater species, it is not yet fully – developed compared to other islands in Antique which are also well – known to the public.

  8. Marian Sembrano

    1. Identify one top Trait/Feature (identify its value proposition) of this hotel or place or tourist destination (whichever is applicable) which you would like to highlight should you be promoting and selling the services of this property or place to foreigners/tourists. Explain why its the top selling point of the place.

    – Nogas Island stands out for its natural beauty, great place for various activities like snorkeling and affordable entrance fee, making it a perfect destination for people who loves nature and seeking for an escape.

    2. Challenge for selling and promoting
    – the challenge is the visibility and accessibility of the island

  9. Florelyn Lorilla

    1. The Island’s tower is the best feature of the island that is greatly love by the travelers. This place is a perfect part of the island whereas people who loves scenery and tranquility is provided. A place that is full of natural vibrant colors. This place is the best part in which travelers may take a rest and embrace the beauty of nature. It would be better if there will be beautiful lights at night so that travelers may still enjoy on hiking and the means of the countryside.

    2. The biggest challenge in promoting this property in the international market is Market Saturation and Competition. Philippines has many beautiful places for amazing islands and mountainous scenery around the nation. This will be a great challenge since this island has no amenities yet and accommodations compared to other places in which they have a lot of activities to offer.

    1. This island provides a distinctive and genuine experience, ideal for unwinding and taking beautiful pictures.
2.The biggest challenge in promoting NOGAS Island to the international market is its remote location and limited infrastructure, which may hinder accessibility for travelers.

  11. Ma. Dhenice Marquez

    1. One top feature of this tourist destination is mainly the majestic scenery of the place which will be enjoyed by the tourists. As it is an environment where individuals can relax and enjoy both nature and water activities, tourists will surely find solace and serenity as they come to visit it. The place has a lot to offer for the tourists because of its excellent accommodation and accessibility.

    2. The biggest challenge when promoting this to the international market is the competition between places since there are still other scenery that are more captivating than the Nogas Island.

  12. Kassandra Abellon

    1. The Nogas Island is a haven in Antique with white sand beaches and crystal blue waters, one of its selling point is that the island’s scenic uninhabited beauty. It’s completely uninhabited where no commercial buildings or landscapes can be found, the only man-made structure is the lighthouse. Tourists can completely enjoy the nature, it’s a perfect getaway place from the city if you want to enjoy a nature reset with family and friends. Since it’s uninhabited, the only visitors on the island are the tourists, you can all enjoy the island without the pollution and crowd.

    2. The biggest challenge would be that there’s no overnight stay, foreigners love to enjoy the place and stay longer to make it worthwhile. It will also give them more time to explore what the island has to offer since it would be a hassle to come back and forth for a day travel for a couple of days to really cover the whole island and it’s also impractical. Exploring the whole island is the main reason why it’s being visited so it’s an important factor to accommodate the tourists.

  13. Ledesma, Fausto IV G.

The one top feature of this island, in my opinion, is the white sand beaches coupled with crystal clear water and marine life. Tourists/foreigners love to explore, especially underwater experiences including diving and snorkeling, making it the highlight of this island when promoting or selling it to potential buyers/explorers.

I think the biggest challenge in selling this property to international market is earning the trust of buyers. Since Philippines is known for graft and corruption, buyers may not trust or they might be hesitant in buying the property.

  14. Hans Christian Malapitan

    1. One thing that best describes the place is that it provides historical memories and significance. There is so much information on the Island about the World War II and majestic balete tree in which this applies to your life and reflect while looking at the beautiful scenery of the Island curious on what history happens that connect into your life.

    2. The biggest challenge is that the Island don’t have what the customers wants: doesn’t have overnight and no snacks. This will result in low foreign visits and low accessibility. Considering the foreign visitors travel long and not get what they want could be serve as a problem to them.

  15. Marvie Angeline Magno

    1. The HISTORY SIGNIFICANCE is the top trait/feature of this tourist destination. The top selling point of the place is that it holds a lot of great historical significance which has a great impact on the tourists/foreigners to appreciate how far the place has become. The centuries old balete tree place, and from a lookout point during World War II in the past, and now it is a beautiful tourist spot in which as the tourists will visit, they will experience relaxation, peace, and tranquility because of its ambiance. From chaos, to beauty of natural resources of the paradise will embrace serenity.

     2. The biggest challenge would be it is not HIGHLY ACCESSIBLE since it is a hidden gem or hidden paradise. Some tourists/foreigners prefer to visit a place/spot when it is accessible or not a hidden place for their convenience because there are some locations that are difficult to find when travelling or going to the place.

  16. Mary Grace Santa Cruz

    1. Identify one top TRAIT/FEATURE (identify its value proposition) of this hotel or place or tourist destination (whichever is applicable) which you would like to highlight should you be promoting and selling the services of this property or place to foreigners/tourists. Explain why it’s the top selling point of the place. (Never mind the blogger’s pics, that’s the best look he can offer, lol).

    2. What should be the biggest challenge (just 1) should you sell/promote this property or place to the international market?

The biggest challenge is the transportation upon going to the island, since it is an island so there will be a challenge upon reaching the destination. Since nagos island is located in the philippines, we are gonna promote it to the international market. The Philippines is known for its white sand beaches. Which is the nagos island is fit in the criteria for a tourist destination. By its breathtaking view and the grasp of nature. Surely tourists will be inlove upon visiting the island.

  17. Jan Henryck Rodriguez

    1. One of the special attributes of this scenery is being one of the nature ambiance and the fact that it is going to boom because of this blog. Nogas Island is featured because of it’s “beauty of unknown” kind of island which makes it good tourist spot.

    2. The challenge that Nogas Island will faced is how should they market it here in local scene and in international scene. They lack of other resources, mode of transportation, infrastructure and local support of the tourism government.

The island has a gorgeous coastline that is good for swimming, snorkeling, and tanning. With its serene ambiance, the underwater realm brimming with vibrant coral reefs and unique marine life will make you want to submerge yourself . A fascinating feature of Nogas Island is its tower which offers a bird’s-eye perspective of the entire island and its breathtaking surroundings. It makes the visitors amazed and blown away by the magnificent surroundings and it is the perfect spot to take priceless pictures they will never forget. The Nogas Island is the hidden gem of this tropical paradise.

The biggest challenge in selling the island to the international market is the cultural barrier, It is essential for one to understand and honor various cultural conventions, preferences, and expectations.

  19. Dana Ysabelle Jamison

    1. One top trait/feature I could identify of this place is its exceptional snorkeling experience. The destination boasts breathtaking underwater landscapes with vibrant coral formations, colorful fish, and other fascinating marine creatures. Tourists can witness the mesmerizing beauty of the ocean firsthand, creating unforgettable memories. The crystal clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and abundant marine life makes it an ideal location for the tourists. Other than that, the island provides opportunities for nature and adventure lovers to explore its untouched beauty and tranquil ambiance.

    2. One biggest challenge is that there is no overnight accommodation available on the island. This is really a hassle to the tourist because of course they prefer to have a convenient and comfortable recommendation and since they don’t accommodate overnight visitors may seek a hassle-free stay from other place.

  20. Germelyn Dalida

    1. The top feature of Nogas Island would be it being a hidden paradise— it’s a spot to unwind, relax, have an adventure, and get in touch with nature. The island is like a portal for the tourists to get lost into, from the untouched white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life. Since Nogas Island is not yet well-known by tourists compared to other islands in the country, the island being well-preserved and in good shape is enough for it to be more enticing to tourists.

    2. The biggest challenge in promoting Nogas Island to the international market is the accommodation near the island. It requires detailed information as to which hotels or staycation facilities to recommend especially for the foreign tourists since they’re not familiar with the place.

  21. Han Maree A. Salbibia

    1. Personally, I think that the location’s ability to provide guests with a serene and relaxing environment is its greatest asset. This would be a powerful appeal to the tourist spot, encouraging people to come—especially those who enjoy spending time in nature. In this chaotic world, I believe a place that would help you ease the burden you carry will be something that many people would enjoy and benefit from, helping them to keep on with their lives in spite of the challenges they face.

The main obstacle this location faces in the global market is the existence of numerous tourist destinations in other nations that provide visitors with more than just a peaceful, relaxing space—they also provide amenities like rooms that they can rent for extended stays. Furthermore, other destinations that seek to offer peace and quiet to their visitors have far more magnificent settings that would draw visitors with ease.

  22. James Dominic A. Park

1: Value Proposition- Nogas Island’s Iconic Tower

Amidst the breathtaking natural beauty and serene surroundings, the island’s tower stands as a testament to its enduring charm. With affordable entrance fees, embarking on an exploration of this hidden gem island promises an unforgettable journey into tranquility and awe-inspiring landscapes.

    2. Challenge- Accessibility
Despite its remote location and the inability to stay overnight on the island, Nogas Island present an intriguing challenge in accessibility for both local and international tourist. The complexity of navigating the limited infrastructure may confuse international tourist. Selling or promoting this place requires strategic marketing effort and may take years, But it’s worth it, I’m certain that this will attract both local and international tourist.

  23. Ma. Danilla Ora

    1. Nogas Island known as the untouched paradise, with remarkable preserved environment and marine life. With a historical story behind the place, the island is packed with natural ambiance of trees, vibrant marine life with a bonus of adventure and relaxation.

The island should be promoted to foreigners/tourists, Philippines is known as a destination for relaxation and fun, the Nogas Island is not an exception. A place like this in the perspective of a tourists is an escaped from city life, they will not only see this as a destination but a peaceful kind of home in which they are not only immersed with nature but also historical spot.

    2. The accommodation near the place. Promoting a place internationally requires a meticulous plan on how you would want the place be positioned in the perspective of a tourist. Since the place does not offer overnight stay, hotels and other accommodation should be prepared before the trip.

  24. Jun Claire Ang

    – The value proposition of the Island Tower lies in its ability to offer breathtaking views that showcase the natural beauty of Nogas Island. This elevated the perspective of tourists which allows them to marvel at the pristine white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life that make the island a true paradise. The panoramic view from the tower provides an immersive experience, allowing visitors to appreciate the untouched and unspoiled nature of the island.

Climbing the Island Tower, just like when we climb the mountain, will become a memorable and enriching activity, offering a perspective that cannot be replicated elsewhere. Tourists can capture stunning photographs from this elevated point, creating lasting memories of their visit to Nogas Island. Aside from this, the tower also adds a historical element, as it served as a lookout point during World War II, which adds a cultural significance to the overall experience.

    2. One of the significant challenges in selling/promoting Nogas Island to the international market could be the convenience of getting to them place, especially the logistics needed. While, it is undoubtedly worth it getting there, the process of travelling – flights, renting boats, and lack of food store on the island — this may pose travel obstacles for potential international tourists.

  25. Marriane Victoria Gonzales

    1. One of the top features of Nogas Island is its stunning beach. Its value proposition is that it has a lot of beach activities to offer. The beach offers tranquil atmosphere, and it serves as a gateway to the island’s vibrant marine ecosystem. Nogas Island serve as the focal point of its natural beauty, attracting travelers who seek both relaxation and adventure in a pristine coastal environment. This makes it great place for anyone who wants to take a break from the busy city life.

    2. The main challenge in promoting Nogas Island internationally is its remote location and accessibility . Unlike the other popular tourist spot they are far but has a lot to offer in the area. Nogas Island involves navigating through different transportation options. Some people loves to travel with less hassle.

  26. Patricia Angelika Leonidas

    1. In proposing a campaign for the target market I would like to highlight the island’s trekking activity, having a blue waters and white sand beach paradise at the same time. This will cover the panoramic view of the island, snorkeling activity and beach relaxation.
As per experience, stated above were the top options of why people would like to explore the island. One is for adventure and the other is to embrace the peace and ambiance of the place. They are branding themselves as the hidden gem when truly it is, knowing of its virgin natural resources and vibrant place given the century old Balete tree.

    2. I have noticed top 3 key points why their is a challenge in selling this in the international market.
    a. The people want a place to stay. To increase customer satisfaction I think one of the challenges is lack of customer accommodation in terms of overnight staycation. For a customer who wanted who wanted to explore the Island that came from abroad, they prefer to maximize their stay by offering a room for them to stay. However, we still need to preserve the island’s beauty by also not harming the island itself.
    b. The unavailability of snorkeling gears. For the customer who wants to explore diving underwaters and wanted to explore the hidden treasure of the islands I think providing a snorkeling gears and safety measures might be a great help for the customer.
    c. No food offering.

  27. Keil Kevin Anida

    1. BALETE TREE – With its massive branches, the ancient and sacred balete tree are deeply revered across the nogas island which makes it a unique island from the rest of archipelago here in the Philippines. These trees are hundreds of years old which brands them as like living history books standing to witness all of the changes within the island. With that, Tourists and locals are drawn to these trees not just only for their beauty but for the stories they hold to nature.

    2. Given that this island does not offer overnight accommodation, this might be the biggest challenge of the international tourists. Even though that there are nearby resorts within anini-y this would just defeat the purpose of enjoying and exploring the beauty of nogas island especially for tourists with infants and elderlies, this makes it a hassle for them if they transfer island to island if the nogas island itself doesn’t offer overnight accommodations.

  28. Anne Marie Camon

    1. Aside from its crystal-clear waters, unspoiled white sand beaches, and vibrant marine life the one who stood out in this tourist destination is the watch tower. As a person who loves to watch sunsets, this place would be a go to for me and I would recommend this place to our local travelers and foreign travelers. The tower can be climbed by the tourists who wants a panoramic view of the island and its surroundings or just enjoy the vibe of the island. I think that the best time to climb the island’s tower is during sunset. For me you don’t need to go to Palawan, Siargao, or La Union because you can feel the vibes in those places here in Nogas Island.

    2. Accommodation and activities would be the challenge in selling this tourist destination. Foreigners opt to stay at least overnight and do different water activities with their chosen destinations. Although there are accommodations near the island and other accommodations offering water activities, with this lovely location I think that the tourists would love to stay on this island for at least overnight.

  29. Christien Nathan Benito

    1. The top trait and feature of the tourist destination is its rich history and the balete trees as it can offer a tranquil and serene experience to the island visitors in which providing them the opportunity for a quick escape from reality. This allows them to become one with nature during their stay as majority of the visitors come from the typical urban lifestyle that is filled with manmade infrastructures resulting in a taking nature for granted behavior, therefore this experience will change their perspective for the better towards appreciating what mother earth can offer. To immerse oneself with the balete trees around them and exploring the island will give them a memorable adventure of a lifetime that they will forever treasure.

    2. The most difficult challenge that the tourist destination will face is the accessibility and accommodation of the island in which the remote island is isolated from civilization, therefore being far away to basic commodities and living necessities. There is also a threat from natural disasters that can affect the island in which the safety of tourists would be in question.

  30. Carlene Santolices

VALUE PROPOSITION: “For selenophiles on the hunt for a hidden gem, Nagos Island is a getaway location that remains unsullied by waste, air, and especially, noise pollution.”

Selenophiles are a target market composed of tourists that prefer calm and quiet locations. Nagos Island is the perfect location to satisfy the timid hearts who are fed up of the urban pollution that cities have. Its selling point is that it is detached from civilization which enables it to remain free of the usual irritants the contemporary world is filled to the brim with.

INTERNATIONAL MARKET PENETRATION: Clean water and white sand can just be anywhere in the world. But the feel and faraway aesthetic is a rare selling point that can easily be marketed to overstimulated tourists that prefer their beach isolated. With its cheap entrance fee and the presence of resort accommodations nearby, it is more than a profitable business destination.

  31. Angela Grace Diamartin

    1. The best attraction that Nogas Island is offering is their lagoon tucked away amidst lush greenery. I believe that this should be highlighted because the Philippines is well known for its clear waters and archipelagic features in which foreigners are fascinated of. In terms of international market, it is best to highlight this feature because it is something that the market is looking for. While other attraction are also capable of being amazing on their own, I believe that there should be a main attraction and a concrete spot that foreigners should look forward to and that is the lagoon because after walking through greeneries and nature’s green beauty, the end point of it all is a place of stillness and peace and that is something that the lagoon offers.

    2. In my opinion, the biggest challenge in promoting this place is its lack of access to food and beverage stores. It would be inconvenient to say the least for visitors to bring their own food and beverage most especially if they are planning for a whole day stay at the island which requires at least three meals. Given the fact that this place is kind of a place for adventure, surely people would crave and be hungry in the process and not having access to food and beverage would discourage them from actually going to the place and stay for long periods of time.

    1. Identify one top TRAIT/FEATURE (identify its value proposition) of this hotel or place or tourist destination (whichever is applicable) which you would like to highlight should you be promoting and selling the services of this property or place to foreigners/tourists. Explain why its the top selling point of the place.
    – NOGAS Island’s pristine beauty offers travelers an authentic escape to untouched paradise. With crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life, it’s perfect for relaxation and stunning photography.
    2. What should be the biggest challenge (just 1) should you sell/promote this property or place to the international market? – The biggest challenge in promoting Nogas Island to the international market is its remote location and limited infrastructure, which may hinder accessibility for travelers.
