With the busy kind of lifestyle that we have, we find it difficult to rest once in a while and enjoy what the surrounding has to offer. That is why when given a chance; we look for the ideal place where we could relax and at the same time, bond with our families. It does not have to be overseas, nor too far to get such a place since there are a lot of beautiful places in our country. One of which is a resort hidden in the beautiful Negros Occidental, Philippines, the Mambukal Resort.
You might be thinking now, what makes this resort unique and why does it deserve a visit? Given the fact that the place is naturally beautiful with its unique features, the added activities, amenities, and accommodation would surely complete your rare vacation. The waterfall that supplied water to the lagoons and water holes, along with the available pools in the area, you would enjoy this get-away.
The resort is well-known for the hot sulfur spring which is also believed to be medicinal, that’s why many would come here to take a warm yet refreshing dip at the springs and pools. Since you’re already here, you might as well spend the night so that you could maximize your stay. There are available accommodations depending on your choices such as dormitories, cam sites, family cottages, LGU cottages, standard rooms, and villas. Additionally, if you are staying for a day, you may also rent a picnic hut where you could stay for the day. It also has conference halls which aim to cater to those who would like to spend special events or celebrations in the resort as well as for those who would want to make use of the place as a venue for social gatherings like seminars and conferences.
As for the recreational activities, you may choose to swim at the Kiddie and Adult Pool (3 feet to 5 feet) or the small pool (4 feet to 5 feet), sit and dip at the four feet warm sulfur pool, take a bath at the Japanese Ofuro (hot tub) or Ishiwata Bath House, or boating at the lagoon which is approximately nine feet deep. There are available Kayaks and Rowboats for this specific activity.
