A Place to Visit
Looking for a place to visit for a vacation or just a mere quick getaway? Are you tired of the noisy environment and you simply like to get away for a while with people close to you? Or do you simply want to add more to your travel bucket list? Bring the entire family and barkada with you as we travel to the southern tip of the country, Glan Sarangani! It is just an hour and a half flight from Manila going to General Santos City followed by a land trip (through a private vehicle or a bus) taking you to Sarangani. Upon reaching the place, you can now enjoy all the fun and adventures that this place has to offer!
This place is a combination of Boracay and Vigan and all the other tourist destinations of the country. They have the scenic pristine shorelines and in a naturally white-sand shore! At the same time, other things that we can see at Glan Sarangani are the Colonial-era structures which make the place even more classic and elegant.
The place is simply serene and peaceful and it is the best place to visit especially if you are coming from city life Manila. Some of its tourist spots are the Gumasa Beach which is a stretch of powdery white sand beaches with alluring beauty of paradise, bountiful fresh coconut fruits and open grassland, Kapatan – Lago Dive Spots which is a dive site just near the shorelines and beside an aquaculture farm for Sergeant fish, and the Century-Old Houses, the several ancestral houses built mostly in the early part of 1900s.
Walking around the town for a tour as well as visiting the local market of the town is also a fun-filled activity to do in this place. But if you are looking for a special occasion to visit this place, I advise you to come here during the month of May for they host the Sarangani Bay Festival, which is considered as the largest and grandest beach festival in the country! In this festival, you can enjoy swimming in the calm water of the Sarangani Bay and also join the fun that the festival offers.
Another month to visit this place is the month of April for they have the Mahin Festival. This festival shows the rich culture and tradition of the town by setting up their indigenous games. And for the month of October, be amazed at their manifestation of the Glan’s industry and tradition through choreography, musicality, and costume called the Lubi-Lubi Festival. The performers are wearing costumes made up of coconut being the major product of the place.
There you have it, all the reasons to put this location on your travel bucket list. Are you ready to travel the beautiful place of Glan Sarangani? Book your ticket now and prepare for your one of a kind experience that you will surely treasure! Enjoy the place and have fun accomplishing your hashtag travel goals!

Don’t forget Burias Beach with Salisipan Point View Resort.
hi, do the beach resort owners allow tourist to camp out in tents?
For what I learned most beaches would not allow tents in almost all resorts in Saranggani especially in Glan. I just don’t know with some other resorts.
Really a wonderful place to visit. I was planning a trip to Sarangani. a had listened a lot about the Philippines. hopeful for the visit. Thanks a lot for such a nice sharing.
Been to Glan and I like the Gumasa Beach. It was nice that I was with my partner, hindi masyadong magulo, kukunti lang ang tao. very peaceful …
Iba ang ganda ng pinas! I love Saranggani, such a beautiful place to visit
