Aguinid Waterfalls

It is located in Bato after taking a ride from Moalboal. You need to prepare for an hour of a long journey. The entrance fee costs PHP40 for the locals and PHP60 for the foreigners. You can also have a guide, but since they don’t have salaries from it, it’s better to give them tips. There is a specific part of the falls where it is quiet and colorful, but there’s also a portion where you can experience the crowd. Usually, guides are stopping to Level 5 because of the safety of the travelers, but reaching the other levels is worth it.

Pescador Island

Just like in the other islands, you can do snorkeling trice. Best to snorkel is in the morning to see the dolphins swimming and jumping on the water surface. Not only that, but you can also see different types of fishes and corals, even turtles are swimming with you!

Lambug Beach

If you’re looking for a magnificent beach, this is one of the best. You can find this near Panagsama Beach. Cottages are all around the area, so if you want to relax, you can rent for one. Just like Boracay, this beach is a white sand beach with crystal-clear water and starfishes sunbathing on the coast.

Tumalog falls will surely catch your attention if you’re a waterfall chaser. Experiencing the falls is relaxing, but don’t expect the pool to be deep enough to swim. The entrance fee only costs PHP20, and you need to ride a habal-habal for PHP50 before reaching the falls. 

Osmeña Peak

After enjoying the beach in Moalboal, you can rent a motorbike to reach the Osmeña peak. And it’ll take 45 minutes from a stopover to reach the summit. Osmeña peak is like the famous Chocolate Hills in Bohol. Its only difference is that you can enjoy walking around Osmeña peak, unlike in Chocolate Hills, you will only see them from a deck.

Whale In Oslob

In visiting Cebu, don’t forget to go to Oslob to watch the giant whales in the morning of your stay. It will only last for 30 minutes, costing PHP1000 for foreign tourists and PHP500 for locals. It is one of the best to plan for a visit to Cebu.

Getting to Moalboal

You can go to Cebu through a plane, and Mactan-Cebu International Airport is open for everyone who loves traveling worldwide.

If you are from Cebu, you can ride a bus from the South Bus Terminal. The time to take during the ride is about 3-4 hours; their bus stops so you can take your time while you’re moving.

If you’re a traveler from Bantayan, Malapascua, and Oslob, you have to take the bus from Cebu North Terminal to Maya Port, and it will take 4 hrs in between destinations. If you want less hassle ride, you can rent for a van to Malapascua then ride a boat or a private boat to reach Moalboal. To reach Moalboal, you need to ride a tricycle to Panagsama Beach. Another way is to ride a habal-habal.
