This post is perfect! I’m actually planning for a trip to Maldives but I don’t know what they have to offer. I’ve been wondering if it is really just good for honeymoon like they said. You see, I’m planning to go with my sister. The water activities are the same with the rest of the world but the mention of Stingrays caught my eyes. I have never seen one close up before, especially not while snorkeling.
The Undersea Restaurant seems amazing! And would definitely try the sea plane if my budget is enough, hopefully.

I have many friends who have been to Maldives and they swear it is beautiful. I have no doubt in my mind. Being familiar with photography, I know photos do not capture the beauty that one could see being there, much less the experience.
I did notice, you did not mention scuba diving? Surely Maldives has great diving spots? Now here’s the thing, because I have been so focused on the beach itself, being a beach lover who once lived on Boracay for five years, I did not expect to see other activities such as parasailing. Riding a seaplane is a unique experience that one should try when there.
